Egalis

Egalis was created in 1965

The company started by specialising in manufacturing oars and paddles in wood then a few years later using injection moulded plastic.

In 1988, the company diversifies it's manufacture by integrating a clothing workshop for the manufacture of life jackets and obtains an installation with Rotomoulage intended for the production of canoes and kayaks.

Since 2000, large investments have been committed in order to widen the line of goods and to improve competitiveness of the company to both France and export.

Today the company manufactures kayaks, canoes both rigid and inflatable, buoyancy aids, clothing and much more.

The development of the new products systematically integrates a series of tests in situations realized with practise confirmed as well as a study design.
